Money

Do you take a percentage of orders?

No. Zero, on every plan, forever. We're a subscription. Orders go into your POS and guests pay you.

Do you process payments?

No. When a guest pays in-app, the card form is your own POS's tokenised field — Square's or Clover's — and the money lands in your account at your existing rate. We never see a card number.

What's the contract?

Month to month. Cancel any month. Annual is optional and gets two months free.

Is setup extra?

No. Setup and the website are included on every plan.

Ordering & POS

Does this replace my POS?

No. It sits in front of it and reads from it. Square, Clover and Toast all sync menu, prices, modifiers and sold-out status.

Can guests order from the menu, or does the waiter take the order?

Your choice, per restaurant. Menu mode: the waiter takes it and you still get real sales numbers on every dish. Ordering mode: guests send it to the kitchen and it lands in your POS.

Which POS supports ordering today?

Square and Clover, directly. Toast supports menu and sales sync today; order push on Toast needs their partner programme. Where a POS can't accept outside orders, the ticket prints or texts to the kitchen. We tell you which applies before you pay.

What about tips and tax?

Your POS handles both, exactly as it does today. In-app payment goes through your processor's own form.

How fast is 86?

We check your POS every minute or two. Mark it out and it's greyed on every phone in the room within about a minute.

Menu & languages

How is the translation different from Google Translate?

Dish names are never translated — Causa stays Causa. Descriptions get a human-quality pass. The terms a visitor wouldn't know are explained in a glossary, in their language, linked wherever they appear.

Which languages?

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German and Simplified Chinese today. Adding one is translation work, not a rebuild.

Are the allergen labels a guarantee?

They're your kitchen's declaration, shown on the dish, and the menu says so. Guests with allergies are told to speak to their server. We never generate allergen claims ourselves.

Do I need photos?

No. But a photography day is the single biggest lift to a menu we know of, and it's a half-day add-on we quote on the call.

Guests & privacy

Do guests download an app or create an account?

No. They scan, it opens in the browser, the phone remembers them. Nothing is sent to anyone until they type an email and tick a box.

How does SMS consent work?

A separate, unticked box with the rate disclosure and STOP instruction. Texts go only to people who ticked it. We don't bend this.

Who owns the guest list?

You do. Export it whenever. If you leave, it leaves with you, and we delete our copy.

What do you do with the data?

Run your menu and your campaigns. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anyone else's marketing.

Good Food Good People

We'll build your menu before the call.

Twenty minutes, no pressure. You'll be looking at your own menu, in your guests' languages, before we've said hello.
